Roger LAHANA
President, co-Founder of Neorphys
Previously, he was for ten years Vice-President Discovery at Synt:em, where he managed the teams of medicinal chemists, rational design scientists and IT. He was also in charge of the scientific aspects for several internal discovery projects and participated actively in the design of proprietary software and computational discovery processes, publication of scientific articles, drafting and follow-up of patents within the patent portfolio. He is a co-inventor of several patents describing novel drugs under development, including in pain management.
Prior to that, he was Managing Director at Oxford Molecular, a scientific software company.
He started his career as Senior Scientist at CNRS (French National Scientific Research Centre) before joining the Pierre Fabre Médicament Research Center as Head of Computational Chemistry. He holds two PhDs.
Karine LARBOURET
Vice-President, Director of Operations, co-Founder of Neorphys
Prior to that, she began her career as a medicinal chemist at Synt:em where she managed several projects in the field of safe pain relief, developing new methods to synthetise conjugates vectorized by peptides and new drug candidates; structure-activity studies; follow-up of biological applications; in vitro and in vivo validation; reports and presentations; scientific survey; study of new projects (interest / feasibility).
She was also in charge of the radio-labelling laboratory, where she trained the other scientists, she drafted procedures and security notices and also dealt with the radio-labelled products.
