Who are we?

Neorphys™ is a biopharmaceutical company which discovers and develops novel proprietary lifestyle drugs candidates with a particular focus on pain management.

Why an ethical charter?

It states and fixes the values we share, the principles of behaviour, the moral expectations and good practices in everyday professional life we believe in and that are necessary to a fruitful collaboration.

This ethical charter is delivered to all members of the staff and to every new employee. It confirms our determination to respect what we believe in, while enabling everyone to determine his behaviour within the company.

Above all, relying on a fair and shared ethical charter contributes to give a strong image for Neorphys within its markets.

Such an image, maintained and defended, strongly increases the value of both the company and its team.

Our values

We are deeply attached to the following fundamental principles:

Strong responsibility towards oneself and towards the others. Although obvious, this overall principle summarizes and forms the basis of all other principles and values that rule Neorphys. It deserves, as such, to be always kept in mind.

Respect of the law, regulations and in-house rules by Neorphys, by its inside and outside co-workers and more generally speaking by all its interlocutors.

Respect of human dignity and integrity, by taking into consideration and respecting other people’s differences. Neorphys integrates and fully respects people’s diversity, be it: ethnic, religious, cultural, gender, sexual preferences, etc… This principle of equality, of mutual acknowledgement and of non denigration also implies the acceptance of different sensitivities and opinions and the recognition that there may be several valid ways to see and do things, without however demanding any compromise with one’s personality.

Freedom of research: through the free exchange of knowledge, without undermining the rules of intellectual property.

Transparency: full disclosure of difficulties that could show up during research or that could arise from obtained results . Transparency implies admission of the limit of one’s knowledge. A negative result is an integral part of research and should not be felt as a personal failure.

Confidentiality: through vigilance and continuous rigor regarding the consequences attached to the flow of information.

Teamwork: each member of Neorphys staff has been short-listed then selected for all he / she could bring to Neorphys (skills, attitude and behaviour). Such assumption especially implies:

  • Making one’s skills and talent available to Neorphys and its team, sharing them and being determined to work together;
  • Being aware of one’s own capabilities and conscious of what is brought by each of us: it means keeping in mind one’s value, not underestimating oneself, accepting one’s limits and accepting to rely on the team to compensate them;
  • A continuous search for communication and dialogue: each opinion (suggestion) counts and is worth being heard, regardless the occupied rank and the level of remuneration;

Management commits itself to listen to every opinion and to take all viewpoints into account when making a decision, even though decision-making remains the exclusive responsibility of the management team, both in the choice and in the implementation of strategies and daily decisions.

Respect of partnership: by keeping loyal and fruitful relationships, based on mutual dialogue with all partners (outside co-workers, suppliers, service providers, etc…)

Essential points tightly linked with our activity:

We firmly condemn any abusive or diverted use of the Neorphys drugs that could physically and/or morally compromise the user.

Each of us shall always respect our clients, especially given the particularly intimate nature of our therapeutic focus. Reserve and professionalism shall guide all when communicating about the company, either in a professional framework or in a more personal or family context. There shall be no room for ambiguous or equivocal words. Speech must always be precise, detailed, comprehensive, and shall never be open to irony, coarseness, vulgarity or contempt or any kind which could affect the credibility of Neorphys, its staff or partners.
